Bpifrance is a French public investment bank financing and developing SMEs and innovative companies, which was founded in 2013. It’s also a longstanding and repeat client of Quadrilatère, for which we worked on sites on Rue Drouot (75009), in Maisons-Alfort (94700) and more recently La Défense (92).
To create the Paris office, Quadrilatère implemented the design provided by Saguez & Partners, which also devised the Bpifrance graphic charter. 430 workstations for 2,200 mobile staff were installed on the site, which is home to the support functions, startup mentors and senior management. To reflect the mixed populations and uses, the workspaces are varied : offices enclosed with partitions and thick glass panes designed to keep discussions confidential; wide open spaces with flexible panels facilitating collaborative working and micro-meetings. Quadrilatère addressed three main limitations: a tight budget and schedule, plus technical limitations linked to the layout of this Haussmann-era building.
