Our background
Quadrilatère was founded in 1989 by Jérôme Malet, a lover of architecture and design, with experience at Christofle and Cassina. At the outset, the company acted as the interface between furniture manufacturers all over the world and their clients. The company soon expanded its scope of action to custom layout, through relationships developed by Jérôme Malet with architects and designers.
Today, Quadrilatère still works closely with architects and designers for the creative design of certain projects. In this case, the company offers its sensitivity and expertise to ensure a development consistent with the creative project and consistent quality from design to completion.
Quadrilatère has nevertheless developed its own Design division, which now comprises around ten architects and interior designers, enabling it to support its clients in the “global” development of their spaces: advice, design, work and furniture.
Since May 2025, Christophe Gellé, former president of Réponse and C&W Design+Build, has taken the helm of Quadrilatère to support the Group’s development, and more specifically, to extend its spectrum of activities to the hotel and tourism sectors.
Quadrilatère remains faithful to the two key focuses promoted by its founder: respect for architects/designers and their work; and the ambition to be sustainable, thanks particularly to the quality of the work completed.
