Autodesk is a global leader in design and make software. When designing Autodesk’s new Paris office location, Quadrilatère served as the project’s general contractor. JLL provided additional general contracting services and Stephen Chambers Architects lead the project’s design.
Quadrilatère was charged with the development and execution of this project. Our team was committed to carrying out its design with precision and respecting requirements from both the architecture and client teams. For example, the technical summary of the suspended ceiling was particularly complex as we needed to integrate the air conditioning system, load-bearing structure and lighting attachments within a precise layout.
Other challenges were staying on schedule, managing construction noise levels in a building currently occupied by other companies, and adapting to work delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nonetheless, the Quadrilatère team used the time spent in lockdown to organize procurement and establish strict health and safety protocols to ensure a rapid restart.
